Job Title: Beauty Salon Attendant

We are seeking a skilled Beauty Salon Attendant to join our team at Blunt Salon Ltd. As a Beauty Salon Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment for all clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for clients and colleagues.
  • Provide shampooing services to clients, paying close attention to detail and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Process payments and manage client bookings in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist in promoting products and services to clients, highlighting the benefits and features of our offerings.
  • Clean and maintain the work area, including equipment and supplies.
  • Support the team in providing diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for all clients.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees:
  • Support newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition, ensuring they have the necessary tools to succeed in their new role.
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
  • Do not require Canadian work experience, making this an excellent opportunity for those new to the country.
Support for Youths:
  • Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth, providing them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the beauty industry.
  • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
Support for Indigenous People:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
  • Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
Support for Visible Minorities:
  • Apply hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, ensuring a fair and inclusive hiring process.
  • Offer mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees, providing them with valuable guidance and support.
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
