Job Title: Senior Malaysian Fusion ChefWe are looking for an experienced senior chef to join our team. As a senior Malaysian fusion chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared and presented to our customers.
Job Description:Key Responsibilities- Oversee kitchen operations to ensure efficient service delivery and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they are working efficiently and safely.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to minimize waste and optimize resource utilization.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Degree in culinary arts or equivalent experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Malaysian cuisine, including Cantonese, South Indian, and Indonesian flavors.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide kitchen staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly under pressure.
- Reliability, dependability, and excellent oral communication skills.
Estimated salary range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and holidays.
