Job Title: Executive Chef - Menu Development
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at ADDA INDIAN EATERY INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing new menu items, as well as ensuring that all dishes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new menu items, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Maintain high-quality standards in all dishes, including portion control, presentation, and taste
- Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, staff supervision, and cleanliness
- Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Stay up-to-date with culinary trends and industry developments, incorporating new ideas and techniques into menu development
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a senior chef role, preferably in a similar restaurant environment
- Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure, meeting deadlines and maintaining high standards
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices
- Knowledge of menu engineering and pricing strategies
