Job Summary

As a Directs Store Delivery Associate at Walmart Canada, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers by coordinating and efficiently processing direct and local merchandise for delivery to the salesfloor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Secure high-ticket merchandise in a designated location.
  • Process direct and local shipments promptly, including OMNI merchandise and alcohol, and receive warehouse trailers.
  • Train other DSD Associates to follow receiving area processes.
  • Maintain a clean receiving area by preparing returns, claims, and MTRs for prompt shipment with necessary documentation.
  • Follow safety rules for lifting procedures, box blades, pallet jacks, and ladders.
  • Work closely with the Operations Manager and Office Support Associate to correct problems or discrepancies.
  • Safeguard backdoor and key controls to ensure compliance with Company guidelines.
  • Ensure cold chain compliance and document necessary information on the Receiving Temperature Log/Sure Check App.
