At Parul's Artbox Ltd, we are seeking a skilled Content Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating engaging content. The Content Editor will be responsible for evaluating the suitability of material for publication, making decisions on the significance of copy, and planning the layout or format of copy according to space or time allocations. Additionally, the Content Editor will detect and correct errors in spelling, grammar, and syntax, and plan coverage of upcoming events and assign work accordingly. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to negotiate royalties with authors and initiate payments to freelance staff. The Content Editor will also plan and coordinate activities of staff and assure production deadlines are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of English language and grammar, and be able to write or prepare introductions, marketing and promotional materials, bibliographic references, indexes, and other text.

Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong understanding of English language and grammar
