We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at MJ Construction & Renovation Inc. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the construction and renovation of buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
- Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments, and outdoors.
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
