Job Summary

We are seeking an Actuarial Intern/Co-op to join our team at TD Bank Group. As an Actuarial Intern/Co-op, you will have the opportunity to work on various actuarial models, analyze experience results, and participate in the production of regulatory rate change submissions. You will also have the chance to take part in research projects and market studies, and contribute to underwriting analyses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and improve actuarial models used in the General Insurance teams
  • Analyze experience results and provide insights
  • Participate in the production of regulatory rate change submissions
  • Take part in research projects and market studies
  • Contribute to underwriting analyses
  • Maintain and develop underwriting rules
  • Participate in reinsurance related tasks
  • Contribute to the company's budget process
Requirements
  • Currently an actuarial student
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Excel and other actuarial software
