Actuarial Analyst Job Description

TD Insurance seeks an Actuarial Analyst to oversee the pricing strategy of general insurance products, aligning with business objectives and jurisdictional premium regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Determine rating levels and classification criteria to achieve growth and profitability objectives;
  • Participate in regulatory rate change submissions and implementation;
  • Support and implement best practices and controls to mitigate risk;
  • Contribute to the development of tools and analysis techniques;
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of actuarial experience in Property & Casualty;
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Sciences or related field;
  • Completion of all preliminary professional exams of Casualty Actuarial Society;
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel;
  • Proficiency in programming languages, including SAS, VBA, R, and Python;
  • Predictive modeling skills;
  • Solid organizational and communication skills;
  • Aptitude for analytical and synthetic thinking;
  • Customer-centric approach and ability to work in a team;
