We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Edo Japan. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Food Preparation and Service: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, prepare food order summaries for the chef, and ensure that food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
  • Staff Management: Hire food service staff, prepare budget and cost estimates, and address customers' complaints or concerns.
  • Training and Development: Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees, and offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
