Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W McMurray Group. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and safety of customers and staff, while maintaining high standards of food quality, service times, and service experience.
Main Responsibilities:- Ensure restaurant meets production demands and standards for food safety, food quality, service times, and service experience.
- Open and close the restaurant, manage access to the safe and/or float.
- Assign workstations and manage breaks in absence of senior management.
- Resolve and document issues within their realm of authority concerning the restaurant, staff, and customers.
- Complete daily paperwork as required.
- Train and coach staff side-by-side as directed.
- Confront poor performance and praise exceptional performance of staff.
- Complete daily and weekly accounting administration as assigned by senior management.
- Assist with inventory control, ordering, and cost control as assigned by senior management.
- Apply cash and food cost management principles.
- Ensure cleanliness standards and safe food handling practices are met.
- Ensure high level of service to guests through efficient preparation, stocking, and staff positioning.
- Manage accidents or complaints, implementing service recovery program in absence of senior management.
- Ensure teams appearance is up to standard.
