About the Role
The Métis Nation British Columbia is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Services Specialist to join our team. As an Administrative Services Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the Director of Citizenship in all citizenship processes.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing and coordinating processes to maintain consistency and efficiency in providing citizenship cards to applicants and citizens. You will also collaborate with the Citizenship Administrator and the Citizenship Relations Coordinator to meet the needs of the Ministry of Citizenship.
Key Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role; experience in a government or Indigenous organization an asset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
