As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for providing effective safety training to customers and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver customized safety training programs for customers, including train-the-trainer sessions and instructor training.
- Conduct safety training on customer sites, providing expertise on safety training requirements and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Work with sales, marketing, and operations teams to support customer-facing safety requirements and communicate programs and progress to customers.
- Propose customized training packages based on unique customer needs and develop training materials to support these programs.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Minimum of two years of experience in conducting safety training for equipment operators, with experience conducting train-the-trainer programs preferred.
- Safety experience or formal safety education preferred.
- Demonstrated mastery of a company safety training program and content delivery required.
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and Provincial occupational safety regulations, including OSHA, FAA, MSHA, EPA, and health standards such as ANSI, NFPA, NEC, and other non-regulatory safety codes and standards required.
- Knowledge of MSHA requirements with associated training programs such as Aerial Work Platforms, Forklifts (Powered Industrial Trucks), New Miner, Annual Refresher, and Task Training required.
- Team facilitation skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional settings required.
- Demonstrated mastery of sales skills, including selling value over price and selling the value of training to internal sales force and potential customers required.
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office suite required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Travel approximately 70% of the time required.
- May need to lift over 20 lbs at times.
