Safety Trainer

We are seeking an experienced Safety Trainer to join our team at 0050 United Rentals of Canada, Inc. As a key member of our division, you will be responsible for providing expert safety training to customers and internal employees.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a proven track record in safety training and development. In this role, you will design, deliver, and evaluate customized safety training programs for key customers and internal teams.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training courses tailored to customer needs
- Conduct train-the-trainer sessions for internal trainers and customer employees
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and provincial occupational safety regulations, including OSHA, MSHA, and EPA standards
You will also work closely with sales, marketing, and operations functions to support customer-facing safety requirements and develop customized training packages based on unique customer needs.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- A minimum of two years of experience in conducting safety training for equipment operators
- Demonstrated mastery of company safety training programs and content delivery
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, codes, and standards
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and teamwork skills
In addition, you should have basic skills in Microsoft Office suite and valid driver's license. Travel is required approximately 70% of the time, and you may need to lift over 20 lbs at times.
CompensationThe estimated salary range for this position is $33.50 - $53.30 per hour, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
