Farm Supervisor Job Opportunity

Agrinb is seeking a highly motivated and organized Farm Supervisor to join our team at Springfield Nursery Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our farm, ensuring the health and safety of our employees, and achieving high-quality crop production standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers;
  • Maintain quality control and production records;
  • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed;
  • Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations;
  • Maintain work records and logs;
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • a secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in farm supervision or a related field;
  • demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and management;
  • ability to make decisions under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment;
  • experience working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Working Conditions

The successful candidate must be able to work in a variety of environments, including outdoors in dusty and noisy conditions, and be willing to work variable hours as required.
