Liquor Store Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Liquor Store Supervisor to join our team at Liquor Hut Barrhead. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our liquor store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively manage and assign tasks to our sales team to ensure that all areas of the store are covered.
- Order Merchandise: Place orders for liquor and other products to maintain our inventory levels and meet customer demand.
- Authorize Return of Merchandise: Process returns and exchanges in accordance with our store's policies and procedures.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for our sales team to ensure that we are adequately staffed at all times.
- Sell Merchandise: Provide excellent customer service and sell liquor and other products to our customers.
- Prepare Reports: Compile and analyze sales data and other reports to help us make informed business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints and resolve any issues that may arise in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Ensure that our inventory is accurately tracked and that we are always stocked with the products our customers want.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the activities of our sales team and ensure that they are working together effectively to achieve our goals.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Our store is a fast-paced environment, and you must be able to work effectively in this type of setting.
- Attention to Detail: You must be able to pay close attention to detail and ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Flexibility: You must be flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Organized: You must be highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
- Reliability: You must be reliable and able to maintain a high level of productivity and quality in your work.
