We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Caregiver to join our team at Yoganithy Sathyakumar. As a Family Caregiver, you will provide personalized support services to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. Your primary responsibilities will include administering bedside and personal care, administering medications, and assisting clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.

Work Site Environment

Our work site environment is non-smoking, ensuring a healthy and safe space for our clients and caregivers alike.

Work Setting

As a Family Caregiver, you will be working in the employer's home, providing one-on-one support to our clients.

Tasks
  • Administer bedside and personal care
  • Administer medications
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Mend clothing and linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship
  • Provide personal care
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Cook
Certificates, Licenses, Memberships, and Courses

We require our Family Caregivers to hold a Mental Health First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Health Care Aide Certificate, and Personal Support Worker Certificate.

Cuisine Specialties

We welcome Family Caregivers with a background in South Indian cuisine.

Security and Safety

A reference check is required for all applicants.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

As a Family Caregiver, you will be required to perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. You must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be willing to work overtime when required.

Weight Handling

You will be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as part of your duties.

We are looking for Family Caregivers who possess excellent punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and patience.
