At AccorHotel, we are seeking a seasoned financial leader to join our team as Chief Financial Officer. In this key role, you will play a critical part in our property Executive Committee, providing professional, friendly, and engaging service to our clients, owners, suppliers, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and advise on business operations, including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments, and future revenues.
  • Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures; provide strategic recommendations and maintain solutions to business and financial objectives.
  • Work closely with the Hotel Ownership to provide business support and analysis as required.
  • Lead and manage the Accounting (including Centralized Accounting team members), Purchasing, Receiving, and IT departments, ensuring all standards are followed.
  • Support, guide, and direct team members by providing coaching with Colleague Relations, ensuring positive Colleague Engagement.
  • Develop Colleague Engagement Survey Action Plans with the team.
  • Act as a leader and role model in the adherence to all Accor standards, exhibiting Accor's values at all times.
  • Participate actively in the Executive Committee, Department Head, and Revenue Management meetings and any other meetings as required.
  • Participate actively in the preparation of the annual Operating Budget, Rolling Forecast, Marketing & Sales Plan, and Capital Budget, as well as the Strategic Plan.
  • Be responsible for the oversight of Hotel Capital process in conjunction with the General Manager.
  • Ensure labor management and other available tools are properly used by managers to set and monitor staffing levels and productivity targets, with the goal of ensuring a balance between service and profitability.
  • Ensure full compliance with Accor IFRS and internal financial controls and seek innovative ways to improve performance on a regular basis.
  • Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual reports, and ensure accurate and efficient monthly, quarterly, and year-end results.
  • Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
  • Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
  • Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of operational controls and strategies.
  • Ensure cash flow is adequate to meet the needs of the operation. Approve all cash disbursements and ensure that all disbursements are properly documented and executed. Approve all rebates, adjustments, and allowances in accordance with Accor policy.
  • Oversee Budget and Forecast activities and assist Departmental Leaders as required through financial training and mentoring.
  • Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
  • Protect Accor and the Hotel Ownership's interests in the Hotel assets and operations, including liaison with Corporate Legal and Risk Management when the need arises.
