About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Process Assistant to join our team at TOP PLUS EMPLOYMENT INC. This is a temporary opportunity with a 40-hour workweek, requiring you to be available for approximately 8 weeks.

Job Summary

This role involves assisting machine operators or assemblers in the manufacturing process, setting up and dismantling equipment, cleaning and lubricating machinery, transporting materials and tools, preparing raw materials for mixing, and monitoring machines for jammed materials or defective products.

Responsibilities
  • Assist machine operators or assemblers in the manufacturing process
  • Set up and dismantle equipment as required
  • Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment regularly
  • Transport materials and tools to and from work areas efficiently
  • Prepare raw materials for the mixing process according to established procedures
  • Monitor machines to detect jammed materials or defective products, reporting any issues promptly
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks effectively
  • Good attention to detail and a strong focus on quality
  • The physical capability to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) and up to 23 kg (50 lbs) occasionally
