Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Disability Case Management Advisor to join our Human Resources team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling complex disability cases with tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and apply Collective Agreement language.
Key Responsibilities- Administer all aspects of disability claims, including gathering documentation and coordinating services
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure effective case management and return to work strategies
- Provide subject matter expertise in disability management, return to work practices, and WorkSafeBC claims
- Interpret and apply legislation and policy related to disability management
- Degree in disability management or related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in disability management or claims management
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret Collective Agreement language
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
