Job Title: Lead Truck Driver - Regional Deliveries

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Lead Truck Driver to join our team at Gordon Food Service Canada Ltd. in a role that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our logistics operations.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+) or tractor-trailer, transporting goods and materials across various locations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Operate and drive trucks safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle maintenance and compliance.
  • Loading and unloading goods accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintaining accurate records of delivery schedules, routes, and vehicle conditions.
Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must possess:

  • A valid AZ class license.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a truck driver.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Punctuality and reliability.
