Overview: The Meadow Lake Tribal Council invites contractors to submit an Expression of Interest for a Speech-Language Pathologist to join the Office of Education. As a key member of the Student Wellness Team, you will collaborate with educators and administrators to provide support and programming to students in nine First Nations schools.

Job Description: The successful candidate will work closely with the Student Wellness Team and school staff to identify and address language, speech, voice, resonance, and fluency disorders in students. Responsibilities include assessing and diagnosing communication disorders, educating and counseling clients, families, and school staff, and supervising support staff to implement articulation therapy.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of communication disorders and experience working with diverse populations. You should possess excellent assessment and diagnostic skills, as well as strong interpersonal and communication skills. A valid driver's license is also required, as travel to First Nation communities is necessary.

Benefits: This is a full-time contract position with a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year. Benefits include a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.

Location: This position is based in the Meadow Lake area, with extensive travel to First Nation communities required. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel are essential.
