Bayview Trucks - Saint John is seeking an experienced Truck Maintenance Supervisor to lead our service team in providing top-notch maintenance and repairs for our fleet of heavy-duty trucks.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and supervising the maintenance and repairs of our assigned shift, ensuring that all work meets our high-quality standards and is completed within regulated and company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and prioritize all vehicle repairs, inspecting work in progress and ensuring completion to the highest standards.
  • Manage repair orders, assess warranty eligibility, and communicate with customers to provide excellent service.
  • Train and instruct employees in proper maintenance procedures, policies, and job safety standards.
  • Report work status and special problems to the Service Manager and communicate effectively with shift personnel and coworkers.
  • Evaluate mechanical problems using diagnostic equipment and work collaboratively with technicians to resolve difficult repairs.

Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in heavy-duty truck and equipment repair.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and lift heavy equipment.
  • Electrical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs, as well as customer service skills.
  • Previous experience with industrial and heavy equipment operation and a strong understanding of maintenance procedures.
