Environmental Scientist

At Montrose Environmental Group, we're seeking a highly skilled Environmental Scientist to join our Assessment, Remediation, Reclamation and Monitoring (ARRM) team. As a key member of our Western Canadian offices, you will be responsible for overseeing site assessment, remediation, and monitoring project scopes, timelines, budgets, and communication with clients and project stakeholders.
Our ideal candidate will have an undergraduate or graduate degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related field, as well as registration in or membership in good standing of a professional organization. A minimum of 8 years' consulting experience in site assessment, remediation, and monitoring projects with a focus on hydrogeology is also required.
We're looking for someone who has knowledge and experience with the BC, Alberta, and/or Saskatchewan regulatory frameworks, and strong data evaluation skills to make decisions based on findings. Experience with borehole logging, sample collection, field screening, and sample selection is also essential.
The successful applicant will be involved in a broad range of projects, including acting as a technical lead for simple to complex contaminated site projects, providing technical direction and mentorship to junior professionals, and communicating and liaising with clients and project-related stakeholders.
