About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team at DOMTECH INC. as an Industrial Equipment Assembler. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and installing mechanical equipment, as well as performing routine maintenance and repair work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install mechanical equipment, including stationary industrial machinery
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair work on machinery and equipment
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in equipment
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Construct foundations for machinery and equipment
  • Repair or replace defective machinery parts
  • Supervise other workers and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
  • Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
  • Install and commission systems and components
  • Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced industrial environment, with a focus on safety and quality. You will be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a variety of weather conditions.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in a variety of weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide guidance and support to other workers
