Clarity Hiring is seeking a skilled Mechanical Equipment Repairer to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, operators, and mechanics to prioritize daily tasks;
- Conduct shift inspections to identify and address equipment irregularities and malfunctions;
- Repair, align, and adjust converting units and other equipment, including cartoners, case packers, and conveyors;
- Troubleshoot and repair power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems;
- Operate machine tools to fabricate required parts;
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications;
- Complete required paperwork, including shift reports and inventory records;
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues at all organizational levels.
Requirements:
- Valid Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certificate (433A);
- 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Millwright;
- Experience working in automation with high-speed packaging equipment and/or robots (preferred);
- Pneumatics and hydraulics experience.
