Job Description

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Analyst – IT to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for analyzing business needs and developing solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Business Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  2. Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain processes that align with business objectives.
  3. Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including technical teams and business leaders, to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  4. Project Management: Lead and coordinate projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely completion and meeting business requirements.
  5. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  6. Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to inform business decisions and drive process improvements.
  7. Training and Development: Create training materials and conduct training sessions to ensure stakeholders have the necessary skills to effectively use new processes and systems.
  8. Documentation: Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of processes, procedures, and systems.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Post-secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related IT field.
  2. Experience: 3-4+ years of technical experience as a Business Analyst gathering and documenting requirements/business needs.
  3. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well under pressure, and proficiency in MS O365 Suite – Excel, PowerPoint, and ServiceNow.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Project Management Certification: PMP or Agile certification.
  2. Power BI Experience: Experience with data analysis and presentation using Power BI.
  3. Bilingual: Bilingual in Spanish.
  4. Previous Experience: Previous experience in Banking/Finance.
