Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Healthcare Assistant to provide personal care and social/recreation/leisure activities to enhance the physical and emotional well-being of clients/patients/residents in our facility.

About the Job:

This Casual position involves working with special needs clients/patients/residents, providing personalized care and support to promote their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care services such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assisting with daily living activities like eating, toileting, and transferring
  • Supporting clients/patients/residents with recreational and leisure activities to stimulate their minds and bodies
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns or issues to management
Requirements:
  • 6 months experience in healthcare
  • Continuing Care Assistant certificate (CCA)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift, transfer, and move clients/patients/residents as needed
