About the Role

As a Petroleum Division Manager at Federated Co-operatives Limited, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and overseeing the operations of our petroleum locations. This leadership role requires strong business acumen, effective communication, and organizational skills to ensure seamless store operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Operational Leadership: Oversee individual location activities and provide guidance to store managers to maintain effective store operations.
  2. Budget Management: Prepare annual budgets, achieve financial goals, and monitor sales, margins, expenses, employee productivity, inventory turns, and overall contribution.
  3. Financial Planning: Provide budget and financial operational leadership, training, and direction during the budget process and prepare business plans for senior leadership review.
  4. Performance Analysis: Assist each location in developing their annual profit plan, analyze store operating reports, and recommend corrective action to maintain sales mix and achieve greater margins.
  5. Marketing Strategy: Analyze existing and anticipated marketing conditions in the division and make recommendations for the retail's marketing plan. Develop merchandising and marketing standards.
  6. Leadership Team Contribution: Participate as a member of the senior leadership team to achieve organizational goals and provide insight on your commodity to seek out growth opportunities for the organization.
  7. Customer Focus: Ensure a customer contact program is in place and service standards are being met.

About You

We are seeking a seasoned professional with 8+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years of leadership experience. You should have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, a background in petroleum, agriculture, or logistics, and a minimum of a 3A license, preferably 1A. You must be honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best at what you do. You should also believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, recognizing the value of different perspectives.

Compensation and Benefits

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
