About the Job:

As a Community Health Worker with Interior Health, you will be part of a dynamic team of Nurses and LPNs who support clients' independence and ability to stay at home. Your role will involve providing home support services to clients, assisting with personal care and daily living, while promoting maximum independence. You will be a key player in the home health care plan for each client.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene

Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home by performing household duties

Prepare meals in accordance with designated plans

Assist with mobility and transfers

Observe and report changes in client behavior and condition

Perform delegated tasks according to training and procedures

This is a Casual opportunity, which means there are no guaranteed hours and work requirements may vary from zero to 37.5 hours per week. We are seeking candidates with good availability for short call work and open to working night shift as well as days and evenings.

Interior Health is an organization where you have room to grow and where life outside of work is just as important to us as it is to you. We offer a competitive hourly wage of $27.92 to $29.60, effective April 1, 2024.
