Hines Health Services Inc., a leading medical staffing and occupational health care provider, is seeking an experienced Obstetrics Registered Nurse (RN) to fill a contract role in various rural Alberta locations.

As an RN with HHS, you will provide high-quality patient-centered care while working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Your expertise in obstetric nursing practices will enable you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients and their families.

About the Role:

  • Plan and implement patient care services based on facility standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, documentation, and communication of same.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of current principles, techniques, and procedures within specified guidelines.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of patients by prioritizing care according to level of acuity.

Requirements:

  • Current registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA).
  • Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse or Bachelor of Nursing program.
  • Active Basic Life Support – Heart and Stroke (BLS-HCP) certification.
  • A valid unrestricted Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an RN in obstetrics.
  • Charge nurse experience would be an asset.

Benefits:

  • Competitive daily rate: $80-$95 per hour, commensurate with experience.
  • Flights, accommodations, and food allowance ($75 per working day).
  • Overtime pay and paid travel time up to 7.5 hours at $50 per hour.

  • Various rural Alberta locations.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred).

Licence/Certification:

  • CRNA Registration (required).
