Job Summary

Tiercon Corp. is seeking a skilled Paint Kitchen Attendant to join our team at our 591 Arvin facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our paint application process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and mix paint according to specifications, verifying expiration dates, viscosities, and paint temperatures.
  • Load and unload paint drums into paint systems, ensuring proper labeling and handling.
  • Monitor paint pumps and catalyst vessels, maintaining and repairing equipment as needed.
  • Verify color selections through our color configuration database, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Ensure adequate supplies of nitrogen are available for production, maintaining a clean and orderly paint kitchen.
  • Perform physical paint inventory counts and record maintenance activities in the Paint Kitchen Log.
  • Adhere to WHMIS regulations and company policies, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and paint suppliers to identify and resolve paint-related issues.
  • Report accidents, incidents, or potential safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in paint application or a related field.
