About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Driver to join our team at AMPOWER ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to our job sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials to our job sites.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods from our trucks, ensuring that all materials are properly secured and accounted for.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure that our vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Cargo Security: Tarp and secure cargo to prevent damage and ensure safety during transport.
  • Logistics: Plan and coordinate transportation routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license.
  • Physical Demands: Physically demanding role requiring attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
