Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Alberta Inc. is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting cargo across international routes, ensuring the safe and secure transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Obtain special permits and documents required for international routes
  • Inspect and maintain vehicle condition, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Driver logbook
  • Driving record check (abstract)
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, often on the road for extended periods. You will be required to work independently and make decisions quickly to ensure the safe transportation of cargo.
