We are seeking three physicians to join our team of nine full and part-time internists/subspecialists at Ridge Meadows Hospital.
The successful candidates will be subspecialists with General Internal Medicine (GIM) ability, or GIM with subspecialty interest relevant to our hospital and community.
Ridge Meadows Hospital offers a unique blend of lifestyles, located 45 minutes from downtown Vancouver. Our hospital provides full-service community medicine, with full radiology services, including MRI scanning, and excellent support from nearby hospitals and staff.
Our department is affiliated with the University of British Columbia as a Community Internal Medicine teaching site. Participation in teaching residents, fellows, and 4th-year medical students is required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing high-quality patient care in a semi-rural community
- Participating in teaching and education programs
- Contributing to the development of our department's subspecialty services
We offer a provisional appointment for one year, usually followed by a permanent staff appointment. Experience and skills in point-of-care ultrasound, leadership, medical administration, and teaching are considered assets.
