Aramco's commitment to delivering high-quality energy solutions has led to a demand for experienced professionals who can drive turnaround excellence.

The successful candidate will join Aramco's Maintenance Solution Department (MSD) under Global Manufacturing Excellence (GME), where they will be responsible for providing turnaround management services for refining and petrochemical plants in the downstream sector.

The role involves working closely with various stakeholders, including corporate functions, affiliates, and wholly-owned assets, to ensure seamless execution of turnarounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or assist in conducting selective maintenance assessments and turnaround assurances to guarantee predictable outcomes and improvements.
  • Review progress and quality of deliverables during the turnaround lifecycle, identifying opportunities for enhancements.
  • Influence and motivate turnaround planning teams to adopt best practices, lessons learned, and industry standards to enhance quality, safety, and competitiveness.
  • Implement stage-gated turnaround processes in various facilities, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
  • Assist in conducting risk management workshops for turnarounds, highlighting potential risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate scope challenge workshops to validate project scope, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with teams to review Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for turnarounds, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies that can enhance turnaround performance and share knowledge with the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized institution; Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in turnaround management, including planning and execution in the Oil & Gas Downstream sector (Refining & Petrochemicals).
  • Proficiency in turnaround planning software such as Prometheus, ROSER, Primavera P6, and end-to-end solutions for turnaround and outage management.
  • Familiarity with stage-gated concepts and experience in conducting turnaround assurance reviews.
  • Understanding of competitiveness indices, Solomon, and cost optimization principles.
  • Experience in contracting strategy, contract scope preparation, technical bid evaluation, and materials management.
  • Closing activities like critique, post-turnaround reports, and lessons learned documentation are essential.
  • Risk management experience and SAP system proficiency are also required.

Working Environment:

Aramco offers an attractive compensation package, estimated at around $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
