Job Title: Agricultural Sales Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Sales Representative to join our team at Green Diamond Equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling new and used agricultural equipment to new and existing customers in our defined sales area.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Represent the company for the sale of machinery to customers in a defined sales area.
  2. Maintain current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the dealership.
  3. Monitor competitive activity/products and timely communicate to management accordingly.
  4. Maintain all customer information in assigned territory for sales management.
  5. Know and follow a defined sales process.
  6. Assist with the preparation and execution of customer events.
  7. Conduct new equipment field demonstrations.
  8. Monitor trends in customer's business activities and timely communicate to management.
  9. Maintain current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods.
  10. Attend applicable sales training events/seminars.

Requirements:

  1. 1+ years equipment sales experience.
  2. Knowledge of agricultural and turf equipment preferred.
  3. Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
  4. Ability to work flexible hours.
  5. Excellent customer relationship skills.
  6. Ability to analyze and interpret basic sales reports.
  7. High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
  8. Must have a valid, clean driver's license.
