Agricultural Technology Sales Consultant

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Agricultural Technology Sales Consultant to join our esteemed John Deere dealership in the Maritimes. This role involves being the go-to expert on crop production systems and agronomic best practices, building strong relationships with our clientele.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with management to implement the dealership's agricultural technology services effectively.
  • Ensure all departments—sales, service, and parts—understand and utilize John Deere agricultural technology solutions.
  • Act as a technical resource for both customers and internal teams regarding new technology in agriculture.
  • Collect, analyze, and monitor yield data throughout planting and harvesting cycles.
  • Assist customers in creating field boundaries, managing data, and implementing automated steering systems.

Requirements:

  • Experience in sales or customer service.
  • Background in agriculture or related fields is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with dealership sales, service, and integrated agricultural technology solutions is a plus.
  • Certified Crop Advisor Certification is an asset.
  • Proficiency in standard office software, including Microsoft Office and online applications.
