**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Planning Specialist to join our team at Scotiabank in Ottawa, Canada.

**Estimated Salary:** $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

**Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive financial plans to high net worth clients, providing expert advice on complex strategies, and fostering relationships with internal advisors and external experts.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. Develop and implement end-to-end financial planning solutions for clients;
  2. Act as subject matter expert and champion for financial planning within the organization;
  3. Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners;
  4. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices;
  5. Contribute to the growth and development of the Financial Planning Advisory team.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • University degree;
  • Accredited financial planning designation (CFP);
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a high net worth financial planner;
  • Life Insurance license; Canadian Securities Course; additional estate and/or tax courses.
