Job Summary:

The Bookkeeping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day bookkeeping operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions, and providing technical advice to team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Transactions: Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the work of 3-4 team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws and financial reporting requirements.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in bookkeeping and financial management.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership skills.
Working Conditions:

The Bookkeeping Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and a high level of attention to detail.

Language:

The language of work is English or French.

Work Hours:

The work hours are 35 hours per week.
