Job Title: Family Physician
About the Role:
The Rosewood Medical Clinic is seeking a skilled Family Physician to join our team. As a Family Physician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a variety of settings, including clinics and hospitals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Health Promotion and Prevention: Provide routine check-ups, health screenings, and vaccinations to patients of all ages.
- Disease Prevention and Management: Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, including infectious diseases, mental health conditions, and chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension.
- Clinical Decision Making: Use your clinical expertise to make informed decisions about patient care, taking into account the latest medical research and guidelines.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and technologies to provide the best possible care for your patients.
Requirements:
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from a recognized medical school.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a family medicine setting.
- Certifications: Certification by the College of Family Physicians (CCFP) and licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
