Wood is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Pipeline Engineer to join our team in Calgary, AB. As a key member of our Oil & Gas Canada business, you will be responsible for working on above ground and buried pipelines in an engineering capacity.

Our projects team has a long history of delivering complex projects in the Canadian oilsands, including pipelines and refinery infrastructure. We are a leading provider of services to the energy transition, supporting the rapidly growing decarbonization and renewables industry in Canada and globally.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement pipeline engineering solutions for our clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations, including CSA, ASME, API, and Alberta Pipeline Rules
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, including alternative fluid pipelines (CO2, hydrogen, ammonia)
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline, with Chemical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in SAGD or cross-country pipelines
  • Registration with APEGA as a professional engineer
  • Familiarity with engineering standards and regulations relevant to the oil and gas pipeline industry
  • Strong technical knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment
  • Strong technical writing and oral communication skills in English
