Wood is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Pipeline Engineer to join our team in Calgary, AB. As a key member of our Oil & Gas Canada business, you will be responsible for working on above ground and buried pipelines in an engineering capacity.

Our projects team has a long history of delivering complex projects in the Canadian oilsands, including pipelines and refinery infrastructure. We are a leading provider of services to the energy transition, supporting the rapidly growing decarbonization and renewables industry in Canada and globally.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement pipeline engineering solutions for our clients
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations, including CSA, ASME, API, and Alberta Pipeline Rules
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, including alternative fluid pipelines (CO2, hydrogen, ammonia)
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline, with Chemical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering preferred
- 10+ years of experience in SAGD or cross-country pipelines
- Registration with APEGA as a professional engineer
- Familiarity with engineering standards and regulations relevant to the oil and gas pipeline industry
- Strong technical knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proven ability to work in a team environment
- Strong technical writing and oral communication skills in English
