Validation Specialist

Job Summary
The Validation Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of dealer finance transactions. This position is responsible for verifying loan and lease documentation, ensuring that all necessary documents are included in the funding package, and adhering to Bank guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify loan and lease documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Ensure that all necessary documents are attached to the validation screen
- Verify vehicle insurance coverage and residence as required by the Indirect Retail Lending Policy Bulletin
- Escalate variances that are outside of Bank and/or Residual Value Insurer guidelines to the dealer and/or Funding Manager or Retail Lending
- Resolve identified discrepancies by communicating with the dealer and making corrections to documentation
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of Bank policies and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
