The Role:

We are seeking an experienced Continuing Care Assistant to join our team at Parkside Special Care Home. The successful candidate will provide personal care and activities of daily living for clients, supporting them in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs.

Salary and Benefits

This part-time temporary position offers a competitive salary range of $23.170 to $24.840 per hour (Pay Band 12) and benefits that reflect the importance of your role in providing exceptional patient care.

Job Responsibilities

The Continuing Care Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities to clients;
  • Supporting clients in meeting their physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs;
  • Working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team;
  • Demonstrating excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills;
  • Maintaining confidentiality and upholding client rights and dignity.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Continuing Care Assistant certificate (CCA);
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills;
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Basic computer skills;
  • A valid driver's license (where required);
  • A Food Safe certificate (where required).
