The Calgary Zoo's catering department is seeking a skilled Server/Bartender to join our front-of-house team. Our catering team offers 8 unique venues across 120 acres, providing a first-rate dining experience. As a Server/Bartender, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing beverage orders, and setting up bartending stations and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities:
Answer questions about beverage menu items and make recommendations
Prepare beverage orders and deliver food and beverages according to standards
Set up bartending stations and dining areas for catered events
Monitor bar inventory levels and communicate needs to the team leader
Provide exceptional customer service to guests

Requirements:
1-2 years' experience in a Bartending or Serving role
ProServe Certification
Friendly, outgoing personality
Independent worker

Working Conditions:
Fast-paced environment
Labour-intensive work
Heavy lifting up to 50lbs
Frequent walking and standing for long periods of time required
May be exposed to hazardous cleaning chemicals and supplies, hot food preparation equipment, smoke, and other hazardous conditions common to commercial food preparation areas
