We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Finisher to join our team at First Art Kitchens. As a Cabinet Finisher, you will be responsible for applying finishes to cabinets and other wood products, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Finish Application: Apply varnish, veneer, stain, or polish to finished products, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
- Wood Preparation: Sand wooden surfaces to prepare them for finishing, and apply laminated plastics as needed.
- Assembly and Repair: Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete units, and repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, and make any necessary adjustments.
- Team Collaboration: Work with other team members to complete projects, and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
- Physical Demands: Standing for extended periods, manual dexterity, and attention to detail are required.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
