Mechanical Engineer Instructor

Description:
This course introduces students to the principles of building energy analysis through a combination of lectures, readings, and project work. The course focuses on the interactive effects of building components and systems on overall energy use, and explores techniques for identifying potential opportunities for improvements. Students will learn how to apply analysis tools, such as whole-building simulation, to inform decision-making regarding energy efficiency measures.
Requirements:
A PhD in Mechanical Engineering is required, with a strong background and active research in the subject area. Candidates must also have a background in mechanical engineering and be licensed or eligible for licensing as a professional engineer in one of the provinces of Canada.
Teaching Mode:
Courses will be taught using an online platform, with the possibility of changes due to health measures or other reasons. Acquisition of skills for effective online teaching is strongly encouraged.
Additional Information:
An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
