Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Subway Sandwiches & Salads. As a key member of our kitchen operations team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food preparation staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation Staff
    • Oversee the preparation and portioning of food to ensure quality and consistency
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation
  • Ensure Quality Control Standards
    • Monitor food and service quality to ensure it meets our high standards
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports as required
    • Establish work schedules for food preparation staff
  • Supervision and Teamwork
    • Supervise 3-4 food service counter attendants and food preparers
    • Collaborate with other team members to achieve our goals and objectives
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent standing and walking
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask are essential
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Client-focused and able to work effectively in a team environment
    • Flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances
    Requirements
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role
    • Permanent employment with 30-40 hours per week
    • Fluent in English language
