As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our food meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient kitchen procedures to meet work schedules and deadlines.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed to ensure that food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all employees are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Hire and manage food service staff, ensuring that we have a skilled and motivated team in place to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, including inventory levels, sales data, and customer feedback.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring that all orders are accurate and fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with frequent standing and walking required.
