Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in emergency nursing, with experience in assessing and managing patients with a wide range of medical conditions. You will be responsible for providing individualized care to patients, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals, to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including data collection and analysis, to improve patient outcomes and care processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and guidelines in emergency nursing, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Experience in emergency nursing, with a strong background in assessing and managing patients with a wide range of medical conditions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex patient situations and develop effective solutions.
