Job Title: Portfolio Administrator, Private Investment Counsel

Scotiabank is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Portfolio Administrator to join our Private Investment Counsel team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and support to our Relationship Managers in the management of client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely and accurate client service, including responding to client inquiries and executing on client cash management requests.
  • Support the execution of business development activities, including coordinating prospecting and business development meetings.
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers to maintain client portfolios in accordance with established firm strategy.
  • Participate in compliance and risk management activities, including identifying and escalating unusual occurrences or suspicious activities.
  • Contribute to the effective functioning of the Private Investment Counsel team, fostering a positive team environment and driving employee empowerment.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Business, Economics, Accounting, or Finance, or equivalent.
  • Two years of industry experience, preferably in a client-facing role.
  • Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficient in providing support to sales and business development activities, with a strong understanding of Scotia Wealth and Private Investment Counsel products and services.
  • Results-oriented, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional client service and achieving business objectives.
